Exray IVPT - IVP/DIP with Nephrot
Possible hydronephrosis
Developmental extrarenal pelvis
Simple peristalsis retrograde pyelogram
And of course I have no clue what any of that means! The computer is a wealth of information but sometimes those medical terms can be more than what I know. Not sometimes, but most of the time.
I see the urologist on Monday and will wait until then.
Have a great weekend, Ladies.
Love,
Libby

Yes, you should wait
How funny Libby, you made me laugh...trying to have a sneak peak (as we all do).I work in radiology and know these terms but they can be confusing and so taken out of context... What you look up on the internet may not even relate to your condition, so it is definately best to leave it for your doctor to explain to you. I know how tempting it is to look stuff up, and I do it myself, but there is really no reason to cause yourself any unnecessary worry. Enjoy your weekend, and Monday will come soon enough.
All the best with your appt, let us know how you go,
Take care

Waiting
We'll be praying while we are waiting on what the doctor says. I have my CT and bone scan on Wed. and then have to wait until the 11th to get the results. I have become pretty good at not worrying about these test in between times. You have a special weekend and do someething you want to do. Hugs and Prayers Saundra0 -
I had my visit and the doctor (urologist) said the radiologist said I should have a scope up through my ureter to make sure all is okay.
The urologist went over the xrays with my husband and myself. The right ureter and where it connects to the kidney does have dilated areas. But he says he believes it has nothing to do with cancer or surgery.
I have had 4 children and they have been somewhat big and I am somewhat small (5'1"). AND I had all four pregancy within 6-7 years. The babies lay up against the ureters, but on the right side there is nothing between the baby and ureter. On the left side is the colon which is between the baby and ureter. He believes this is from back then and since there has been no blood, no pain, etc. that I am okay. But he did schedule me for the scope procedure for the 11th.
What is another procedure in all this that we have to go through.......................?
Thanks for your prayers and concerns. I am thankful as always for each of you and for our Lord.

Well, I think that is good news. Who knows? You may have been born this way. We all have rearranged stuff... My uterus was tipped the wrong was and was supposed to hinder me getting pregnant and having babies...I had three in four years without hinderance. There is always something, isn't there? Inspiration
Libby,
You've inspired me to get my cat scan copies out and look at them. They were inconclusive, but I do know they show a lipoma (fatty tumor) on my butt somewhere, as if I need that addition!
Good luck on the 11th, and I really hope you hear something GOOD then!

Good luck on the 11th. My CT showed some bigger some smaller. HMM.. I asked my dr are you sure I have cancer? He laughs and said yea but couldn't tell it by your health. I am a lucky one. Chemo Is the only thing that wears me out. When I take breaks and feel better I do well. Hope all is good with everyone.
Prayers and HUgs
