You are My Therapy
I've been out of town for a couple of days. The first thing I wanted to do when I got home was check up on the discussion boards here. WOW!!!! I couldn't believe how many comments/discussions have occured over the last two days.
A few weeks ago I mentioned that I'd been struggling emotionally as I neared the end of my treatment. I am doing better. And much of that is due to all of my fellow beautiful (and handsome) warriors here on this discussion board. I don't always have the time (or the words) to comment, but I read EVERYTHING that everyone posts. Even when there is a topic that I'm not affected by, I read the posts. And I am so encouraged to see so many brave and strong women who are bearing their souls and encouraging one another through this journey.
So, I just wanted to say thanks. THANK YOU!!
Love,
Chelle

Chelle,
I also read all the posts because you never know what information might be of help to you. And to hear the support that everyone gives to everyone else. The board really is like therapy. We can vent, celebrate, express fear, hope, every emotion and feeling is accepted, validated and assisted by our friends here. No one judges, everyone listens. And this is a constant in our lives. It is always here for us when we need it. My treatment has been going smoothly but I still love the fact that whenever I need them they are there. That, of course, includes you. We share information, and we define the word "SUPPORT".

Chelle, I'm glad to hear you are feeling better. I also feel the way that you do. I read most of the posts and am lifted by what people write. I hope that I can give back to this board all that has been given to me so freely and lovingly. My thoughts and prayers are with all. Lynn0 -

Fauxma,
I love your definiton of the word support. I also read the postings, the words of love and encouragement. I am not the best writer and the feeling I get everytime I come to my computer is something I can't put into words. I feel so much love from a group of people that I have never met. I love the way Moopy's husband Joe calls us her Pink Sisters. I have been thinking of all of you that have gone for treatment today. Please know that I am keeping all of you in my prayers. Love from your sister in pink, Nancy0 -

Thank you Chelle for your
Thank you Chelle for your kind words. I hope that we've helped someone else going through this journey no one wanted to go on. I also read EVERYTHING even though I may not always answer. Sometimes, I feel I would post a redundant answer since someone before me answered so eloquently. So, I hope to have never offended anyone if I didn't answer and know that you are all in my prayers every night. Hugs, Lili0 -

You expressed that very well. It's what we say, not how we say it.

Awwwwwwww....
I posted a month or so ago that I am "Quietly Reflective" many times when I come to the Boards. I am always in awe of, and humbled by, the insightful written words of the kindred spirits who find themselves a part of CSN.
I love you all...just want you to know that. Even when I am not posting~
Hugs,

What she said. I'm new to all this (it's been 15 days since diagnosis) and it looks like I'm not going to go through what some of you have. But I read it all and get encouragement from all of you. And sit in awe of how much some people have been through and how positive they are even if I don't post much.

I don't know how i happened to stumble upon this group (well maybe Jesus took my hand and lead me to you OK?) anyway i am so very thankful for all of you who care. Our problems might seem little to those who have not been their but they can become huge when we are alone in our own mind with them. What a support it is to have such loving caring sisters who have also been there to help us figure it out. Or better yet how good it feels to help someone who is going through the same.I think nothing feels better than to help even if it is just a word or a prayer of encouragement. I love you all like i know you and probably do know you more than some people who do not know this battle and or have insights into our feelings, hopes and desires. I know this is our mission to learn and help through each other we become a team. A team to stick with when we can't do it alone. Strength comes more abundantly in numbers and i am so glad to have found such wonderful sisters in pink. we will all become even more beautiful day by day as we fight the enemy together. Wishing you all peace, joy, love and sweet dreams always
God Bless

I have found so much insight and support, Amen, and ditto to all that you have said each of you. I don't always post, just when I feel led to respond. But I love connecting just by reading and thinking of each one of you as we keep on keepin' on.....the journey.0
