Hey, did anyone see the article on the BBC site about the guy that got stuck in his sofa for two days and was found because neighbors noticed he wasn't closing and opening his drapes? He just happened to have a bottle of whiskey with him which he survived on. Now he keeps a bottle next to the couch, just in case it happens again!

    I will explain
    The reason we thought this was so funny is we had seen an episode of Black Books where the sofa kept swallowing people. One day my son was sitting on our sofa and in-between the back and cushion I saw something. "What's that?" I ask. "I dunno," says he. When we looked it was a whole folded queen size sheet which had been inside the sofa for must have been at least a week or two. Most people find change or popcorn in the sofa, we find folded sheets. I told him life was funnier than fiction.

    He must have been a skinny little dude. I would get me a bottle of whiskey and hide it in the couch just incase, but I don't think I will have that problem. Was it all gone? Maby thats why he couldn't get out. LOL

    Definitely a good reason to keep that bottle around. For me, it would be Bailey's or Kahlua.

    Isn't she a honey?? She's my mentor you know. To live long enough to have that many wrinkles and to not care what others think enough to wear those colours.....together and have a stogie to enjoy once in a while. That would be the life!! LOL

    If it were Bailey's or Kahlua it wouldn't last long enough if I were swallowed by the sofa and then I'd be dead. You could drink a whole bottle of that stuff and not even get a buzz.
