Got results from CT scan today - NED!!!! Woohoo!!! Thought I was going to commit murder before I finally got the results, but after hearing the words "clean scan" I felt like kissing everyone I came in contact with (I refrained). This is the first scan since I completed chemo in December for Stage IIIa rectal cancer. I know the nerves will kick in with each one I have done, but for now I feel like I have my life back. Let the planning begin.

    Okay, I'll admit my stupdity -- what the heck does NED mean? I've been trying to come up with something that makes sense but having little luck. Negative Extra Diagnosis? No Elegant Dogs? Never Express Decisions? Help!!

    It means...
    No Evidence of Disease which we would love to be someday..it's not a stupid question, took me abit to figure that out as well...haha.
