No Chemo For Mommy!!!!! Update from Tumor Board
He called this morning and said" Good news!" "the board agreed that you do not need to do chemo at this time, and that my body and all was doing so well, the solitary mass was small and single so it would not be worth it" I asked how many docs thought yes and how many thought no - here's the punch line he said "it was agreed by all - 40 doctors agreed!" I DO NOT NEED chemo! That works for me.
I have to tell you all that I had prayed for patience while I waited for God's plan, and this morning His plan was made clear to me - abundantly clear. I am so happy. I was ready to do whatever was suggested to me, but I was having a hard time making the choice myself. When the board came back 100% I was floored.
So - no chemo. Scans every three months - and on we go. I know this doesn't mean I may never have to do chemo again, and if docs tell me to do it at some point, I will go willingly. But all I know is not now!
Again, I thank you sweet people, for all your advice and understanding. Sharing this journey with you all , is a blessing in itself.
On we go~

100%
Wow, I would think that among that many doctors there would be some disagreement.
Sounds like 100% agreement is the strongest support one could ask for; am so happy
for you and I know you are ecstatic. Thoughts and prayers are with you on continuing
to have clear scans.

Boy if that isn't confirmation of a sign! All 40 agreed, that's fantastic and I'm really happy for you!!0 -
Congrats mykidsmommy
You dodged the chemo bullet... Now focus on getting your immune system into high gear! Wholistic clinics have diagnoistic tests to evaluate immune system response and than help you reach the goals necessary to avoid the beast. Costs a few bucks, but well worth it. Ask around, get a referral..0 -

That is exactly what I was thinking I need to do - Find a Holistic Clinic - how to know if it is a good one or a quacky one? I am going to start juicing - and do some things I have been meaning to do - but now that I have a little window where I am NED, you're right I lust get my system working top speed for whatever else might be lurking - and maybe be able to dodge chemo again own the road.
Thank you for this post mono5 - I will get on it this week!0 -
