I THINK I HAVE THYROID CANCER

I am a 14 year old boy and i have a nodule? I think either that or a lymph node im going to get a needle biopsy done soon. I have no side effects or any symptoms from the nodules or lymph nodes that i have but i want to know if i can still be diagnosed with cancer.

    I didn't have any side
    I didn't have any side effects before I was diagnosed with cancer, so it's possible. But don't let that scare you...thyroid nodules are pretty common, and only about 5 out of 100 is cancerous. So at this point don't worry too much, there's a good chance it's nothing. Good luck though. :)

    sure...things are always less scary the better you understand them. :)

    also thyca.org is very helpful, and webmd is sometimes good for non-cancer related thyroid info.
