Hey Lynn, I just wanted you to know that you really motivated me!!! After you told me that 33 laps in the pool was a mile, I set that as my goal. I've never done that before. Not even close.
Until last night!!!!
I swam 34 laps in 45 minutes (pretty slow, aye!). AND I didn't wear my floaty or use the kickboard. I used flippers and rotated between 3 different strokes (freestyle, backstroke and breast stroke).
I was so ecstatic about it. You'd have thought I finished a marathon!
Of course, today, I feel like a ran a marathon. LOL
Anyway, thanks, Lynn, for motivating me. I hope your shoulder is better.
Blessings,
Chelle
P.S. Chemobrain and swimming.....it's a bit like Dory (from Finding Nemo!) I just need to find me a blue swimsuit.

Wow!
Good on you! My shoulders are still talking, but I just get in and kick and do any stroke but the free style which I love, but was my nemesis.
I am back to work (I was off for winter break) so I can't visit here as much, or I would have congratulated you earlier. Hope you are still glowing.

JUst stay away from the net!!!
ROFL!!!!
I have always found swimming soothing and a GREAT workout! Of COURSE, it needs to be in a HEATED pool with handsome men (just kidding, most of the men at my club are not interested in my type...older and female....lol!).
Keep up the good work!
Hugs, Kathi
