    Dee. sounds like you might
Dee. sounds like you might have a yeast infection, which is sometimes caused by taking antibiotics. You might have to go to your gynecologist again. In the meantime, drink lots of water and cranberry juice. And I would definitely call the dr on Monday morning. Hugs, Lili

    Hi Dede,
    I've had 2 UTI's

    Hi Dede,
I've had 2 UTI's this year during treatment. For me, it all boils down to sex. If I don't do just the right things, then apparently, I'm very prone to UTI's. Spontaneity has been thrown out the window in my life. I can't believe I'm sharing this.......

This is what has worked for me for the last 3 months: Pre-sex, I have to make sure I drink A LOT of water so that I can go pee A LOT before and after intercourse. (This is the most important part! Your urine has a natural way of killing infections that could creep into your urinary tract from sex, but it needs to be A LOT of urine) Also, I have to use an insert lubricant (like ReFresh) and make sure my hubby is very lubed up and that I'm lubed up on the outside. Even if I feel like I'm naturally responding, my body does not produce enough to protect me, so I have to use A LOT of K-Y.

I was premenapausal prior to my diagnosis (age 36), but was thrown onto the rollercoaster ride of menapause after a bilateral oophorectomy. Whew! What a ride!

    Oh! I'm so embarrassed!

    What Stage?
You'd think that would be an easy question to answer. Initially I was considered Stage 1, with a lump that was just over 1 cm on my left breast and no lymph node involvement. But after an MRI and another biopsy (while I was on chemo), they found some in my lymph nodes on the right side as well as a small mass in my right breast. They are saying I had two separate primary breast cancers. The one on the right side is considered Stage 2. The tumor on the right breast couldn't be found after chemo, but there was still some cancer in the lymph node on the right (even after chemo).

Use it or loose it! :) I've heard that, too. I tell you what, all this treatment certainly makes it less tempting to use it, but I haven't given up.......yet! :)

I don't know anything about how to detect ovarian cancer. After finding out about my two separate primary breast cancers, I decided to get my ovaries out....so I haven't really researched that aspect.

As far as your discharge, could that be from the arimidex?

    Ovarian cancer
My Mom had ovarian cancer. But it was huge by the time they found it-10 pounds. It is hard to discover because it mimics many other things. A few years ago I had a cyst and they were checking that. I had to see a GYN and they took an ultrasound. I also heard they can do a blood test CA125, I think it's called. Gilda Radner (actress) had ovarian cancer. I remember her husband (can't remember his name, another actor) telling everyone about the blood test.
