    Microsoft Word?
    Copy and paste?

I usually have Word open and minimized, so this is easy for me...

Hooked on Phonics, or is that Phoenix?
Oh heck Sweetie~ I say we all spell PERFECTLY~ it's just none of us can type worth a Tinker's Dam! That may not even be true, but I am great at rationalizing whatever suits my need at the time! And, I dare say, none of us has ever had too hard of a time deciphering the posts we read in here. We skim right past the mis-typed words and get directly to the heart of the matter!

    Please let your spelling
Please let your spelling mistakes go and I won't have to worry about mine. Expecially since we are dealing with so many tough words...adriamyacin? I have spelled that at least five different ways in different posts, also menopause and menapause. The best thing about mispells is you can get some swear words by the censors that way! luv you know matter how u spel it! Joyce

    spelling
    Hi Marcia

I just switched from Internet Explorer to Mozilla Firefox and I automatically have spell checker. The trouble is when it underlines a word in red I still don't know how to spell it. LOL I always say that my computer dosen't know to spell. Guess we will have to just keep reading between the lines.

Yeah, I guess it's the part
Yeah, I guess it's the part of me that wants everything perfect. I have a pocket dictionary, a thesaurus and a misspellers dictionary by my hand. Kind of a perfectionist that isn't so it irritates me. Plus I got use to the computer changing my words or letting me know. Remember the days of typewriters? One of the Monkey's mother made a fortune inventing whiteout. Years ago I use to keypunch on those computer cards. One wrong keystroke and start over.

    There is this thing....
Every word is misspelled. And still, people can read it....haven't seen it in awhile, but it has something to do with the mind recognizing the first and last letter, the number of letters...WOW! Aren't we all just wonders, when you think about it????!!!!!

I'm not saying bad spelling doesn't bug the daylights out of me~ it soo does! My dad was a newspaperman, and my mom a secretary in the "olden-days"~. my dad had a grease pencil ( remember those, anyone? they unraveled at the tip when the point wore down?) And we had an Underwood typewriter in our house. I still have sweet dreams of EVERY piece of reading material in our house being underlined or otherwise edited with that red grease pencil! And lest I forget, I was my 5th grade Spelling Bee champion! So there~ LOL LOL

I fret after I "preview" my posts here, and then don't notice until three days later that I transposed a letter, or somehow messed up a simple word. Of course it's my typing skills! Otherwise I would have to add "forgetting how to spell" to my long list of maladies. I think not!!!!

And, I'm with Joyce~ I hate that we even have to know that words such as adriamycin exist, much less know how to spell them....

I'm the kind of person who
I'm the kind of person who gets a slow red flush (even in the dark) when I see I've posted a spelling error. Yet, I don't care if someone else does. I have a google toolbar and with it comes spellcheck and a pop up blocker as well as a bunch of other stuff. This is the address for those interested:

    http://toolbar.google.com/T5/intl/en/index_ha.html?tracking=1&utm_campaign=en&utm_source=en-ha-na-us-bk&utm_medium=ha&utm_term=google toolbar&tbbrand=GZAZ

If the address doesn't work just google "google toolbar".

    Hope this helps

    Don't forget the 'edit' button....
It's there, in the lower right corner. Sure, under certain conditions you can't completely delete a comment, BUT you can always edit when you see a boo-boo!
