this antibiotic was only to be taken for three days . i finished yesterday. maybe i'll call the onco tomarrow i'm only seeing a cna right now. this is a small cancer center i dont know how long it would take me to see the dr at i.u. cancer in indy. i havent taken the diflucan yet. i took antibi 1st. i just hate all the pills. side effects are crazy. thank you ladies youer all so sweet and helpful. oh wed when i seen the onco dr. he said he didnt think that it could be reacurrance. they didnt know i had the uti. love deedee

    Hi Dee,

    When I have taken Levaquin it has been one pill for 7 days, however it is a very exspensive drug so recently they have changed me to Keeflex which is taken three times a day for ten days because my insurance will not cover the Levaquin. As I mentioned in an earlier post there have been several times when the infection was so bad i have had to have two entire cycles of antibiotics to clear up the infection. I would diffenately contact your doctors as soon as possible. Hope you feel better soon.
