Getting in
On your CSN home page, beneath the link to this discussion board, there is a link to Chatroom. When you click on that, you should get a new window, which will eventually display a JAVA logo. Wait another 10 or 15 seconds, and you should springboard to the Chatroom area. No additional login is required.
However, if you have a problem with this process, if the above does not happen for you, it may be that you need to update the Java software on your computer. I believe there is a link for doing that as well. If not, post your confusion in here (:)) and one of us will provide you a link to the site where you can update your Java.
Good luck, and as Rita says, hope to see you soon!
Take care,

Well, new java may work. CSN has really dropped the ball on the technical upkeep of the chat room. But if you keep at it, the room is decent stuff and getting back up on its feet.0 -

My bad...they used to put a link on the home page.
Here is the place where they (CSN) apparently get there own version from:
http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp
Simply go to that site, click the very large DOWNLOAD button, and follow the directions. It WILL want to create a directory and maybe alter your registry.
Good luck, and have fun. Looking forward to meeting you!

Bobby (1Survivor),
Someone was just asking where you had run off to yesterday. It has been awhile, if you are, in fact 1survivor!
If you are having problems, and if none of the above seem to work (including FIRST downloading the latest version of Java from Sun Microsystems or some other source - it is free), then I would post a notice to the webmaster of this site to let that person know. They will either need to fix the problem or, at the very least, guide you through the process of getting into the chat room.
Good luck!
If your problems persist and you get no satisfaction, let me know, and I will see what I can find out for you. (I am not an employee, but a survivor, by the way, so I don't get the big bucks here ).
Take care,

I would rally like to know the question to this as well. My Dad had Stage 4 lung cancer, asbestosis, and emphsemia, took 6 chemo treatments and was deathly ill. He decided that he wanted more quality over quanity. He is 78. What do I expect from here and what do I do to help him. My hands are tied and he is getting weaker. What can I expect in the final stage before death. What will happen. dr wants to call in hospice but Dad says not yet. What will they do.How much time. Noone will tell Dad or me.lisat said:lung cancer that has spread to brain and adrenal gland
