(((((((((HUGS))))))))))
You certainly have all of us with you in your corner~ we're glad you come in here and share your concerns with us. Laughing IS great for all of us; before the computer got so popular, I used to literally spend hours in my local Hallmark store laughing at the silly greeting cards!
Hugs to you!

Darn that white cell count!
For me, it took a good year before my white count came back to normal range...
My oncologist, like yours, was unconcerned...she just recommended staying away from sick people (easier said than done...I'm a computer consultant) and eating foods rich in anti-oxidents. These days, everyone is touting the 'immune defense' stuff...2 years ago, when I went out looking, there was little to be found...

low count
My wbc was around 2.5 for more than a year after my chemo ended. My onc was a bit concerned and did bloodwork every month for a long time. Once it reached 4.o he stopped and now he checks it every 3 months. My count hasn't risen above 4 yet and its been 2 yrs. My count before cancer was about 6.o. Chances are it will never get that high again. But I think as long as we are in the normal range(even low normal) we are ok. Hang in there, it will eventually come up. -
I wonder if they could/would
I wonder if they could/would give you a neulasta shot to get your levels up a bit. They do it during chemo why not after? I didn't realize it was that common to have your count take so long to rebuild. I know you must be really worried, but good thing there are some gals here that have experienced the same thing and seem to be doing fine now. Something to hang on to.
Hope you can get your shot and it does it's job.
