low white count

i finished chemo jjuune 30th. rad oct 3rd. last month my white count was 3.5 yesterday was 2.8. i dont under stand. whats going on. deedee

This happens, I think.
It can happen. My wbc stayed around 2.0 for almost a year after finishing chemo. But then it very gradually went up. Now it hovers around 4.0 which is the low end of normal. Before the chemo my count was always around 6.0 or so. So I guess for some of us it will never be quite the same. But be patient, and check with your oncologist. It will be ok.0
