Rising PSA after EBR

I am a 67 year old male. Had a radical prostectomy in 2005. Gleason score 4+3=7, Stage T2b. Had external beam radiation in 2007 due to rising PSA. Now PSA is again rising, 0.35, 0.48, 0.55 ng/ml. My doctor recommends some form of Hormone Therapy. I would appreciate information on what my options are. Is there some sort of staged approach which begins with moderate drugs and then more powerful drugs when PSA begins to rise again?
