Sinus Cancer

Hello Kathyandthuy,
I was diagnosed with a similar NCC, of the brain base, 7 yrs ago. I was told to prepare for the worst because I could die in 4 months. I had very bad double vision and lost 1/4 of my body weight. After surgery, concurrent chemo & radiation, the darn cancer did not seem to be dying. It sure felt like the rest of me was...
Eventually, after several years, I was told there was no more cancer. Unfortunately, a couple of years later I started experiencing middle ear issues. Inflammation, infection, drum bursts, vertigo. I'm still dealing with this after a Eustachian Tube Inflation Surgery. Four months ago I was diagnosed with Addison's Disease, likely due to radiation damage to the pituitary gland.
On the positive side, I'm still alive but I would sure love to hear from someone who has found a way of dealing with my "Glue Ear". None of the over the counter meds have worked and Prednisone lost its efficacy a year aga.
Than You,
Joe
