Machines, etc
Although there is not much to like about cancer, I have found it helpful to be thankful that I live in a time and place that machines, technologies, and skilled medical professionals are available to not just me, but to so many of us touched by this disease. When I think what it would have been like for my grandmother as a young woman in the early 1900's, I am put into a more grateful state of mind. My oncologist once told me that wheras diagnoses of BC have remained pretty constant, the SURVIVAL rates have sky-rocketed! Now that is something to cheer about!!!
Hugs,
