Glioblastoma Multiforme

Back in February a family member was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme. They received one round of Temador and 32 days of radiation. The tumor is inoperatable. It was truly been a rollercoaster ride. Three monthes ago they were unable to turn in bed or get up without help, needed a walker and was very confused. Today 7 months after diagnosis they are walking on their own, but extremely exhauseted after going to the bathroom or doing any type of exercise. They still are a bit confused but their stomach is over 10 inches larger than what it was, it looks like a pregnant belly. They are only on 2 mg of decadron and seem to be getting stronger. What is going on?

    The easiest way to locate other CSN members with similar experiences is to type keywords (such as "glioblastoma multiforme," "Temador," "distended stomach," etc.) on the search bar at the top of the home page. You can refine your search by clicking on the “Advance search” link listed underneath the search field.
