SORE THROAT- NO VOICE
i was just wondering if anyone who has gone through radiation ever experienced a sore throat then lose of voice from it.
someone told me it can be a side effect from the rads, so i figured i would run it by you ladies.
tomorrow morning i will call my primary care physician just incase.
thanks,
janny

Sorry, I have no worthwhile information or experience to answer your question....but don't leave us hanging....what did dr say?
hi zahalene, and i hope you are feeling great!!!! thank you for your response, i appreciate it so much. as far as my sore throat and losing my voice goes, the dr. said he really doesn't think it is from the radiation. he said maybe it's some sort of virus or something, who knows. i just thought the best thing was to ask. the girl who gives me the radiation had measured where the machine actually goes and she said it's not quite touching my throat so she really didn't think either that it is coming from that. long story short, my voice is coming back alittle more now, so hopefully it's nothing.
have a great evening!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We knew you would be fine, but we surely do understand the fear that comes with every hang nail and pimple after cancer strikes. And a sore throat and losing ones voice....well, that's enough to put anyone into the 'freakouts'.
So glad for the positive reports. Hugs and take special care of yourself and your lil throat.0
