just stopping by checking on my favorite ladies and to update
i must say ive been in theslumps for a few days for some strange reason it feels like im facing this disease.
Anyway my sister is still the same no news is good news her CAT 125 is pretty high so she is in the hospital been there for 3 days now her numbers is 1067 and remind u just had a hysterecomy and cleaning. she begains her chemo on the 17th i know this sounds strange but i cant wait.
im off to relax in La for the weekend maybe shop. My dad suggested i have some me time so thats what im doing. as for mys sister she hasnt said anything yet about the whole ordeal of me telling so again i dont know if she is mad or not but again no news is good news.
i read a quote on this board so nice "I use a daily reading from the book "Daily Light on the Daily Path" for my meditation and yesterday the verse of focus was Ruth 3:18, "Wait, my daughter." Guess we are all waiting.
"You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand
that was well said and im gonna close my weekend out on that note!
Feel better ladies for you have made me feel BETTER!
Catch u guys on Monday!

Hi
A weekend away sounds like something you can use..have fun!! I wanted you to know that the higher ca-125 test has nothing to do with the amount of disease inside you. I know of a lady whose ca-125 was 4000 before surgery and she was a 1c, while mine was 200 and I'm a stage 3c. I know of several ladies whose ca-125 is 700 with no disease present on the ct scan. Have fun this week,I'm glad your sis will be having her chemo soon,,,~~~Joanne0 -

My count has been as high as 14,000 so don't dwell too much on the number but just the fact that the count goes down. Its not always 100 percent correct but they maimly just look at the fact that it goes down. And they watch the size of the tumors with the cat scan.
Hope your weekend was a good one. My treatment next Monday but doing good.
