Just letting you lovely ladies know i'm off to see the plastic surgeon tomorrow, see about getting myself a new boob, hooray, looking forward to having a cleavage again. i remember being diagnosed in February and thinking, "just take the thing off, its let me down", breasts have become my enemy, when i see them i think of them as time bombs waiting to go off.... so now i have to become friends with boobs again, learn to love them. I wonder if your mind (as brilliant and complex as it is) actually makes you hate that part of your body that you had to have taken away, so that its slightly easier to deal with ??? im babbling, but its just a thought. till next time . tan x

New Boob
Good luck with your plastic tan. I couldn't wait until I had my reconstruction. I like you did a mastectomy right away and didn't have time to look for the plastic until I was done with chemo. In a way, I was glad because it gave me time to look for one I was really comfortable with and that was competent in doing the procedure I wanted. I actually didn't hate my boob, I do hate the disease that took my boob from me though. Because no matter what, they are not the same as the original ones we were born with. Love and hugs, Lili
