Anniversary

Linda gardened her heart out this summer. Enjoyed many nice nights on the patio watching bats and dragonflies chow insects. She raises Monarch caterpillers plucked from milkweed, and a few black swallowtails as well, then releases the new butterflies back into the world.
She deserves the peace and happiness, as you all know, after having gone through those treatments. We're praying she stays health and can move on in life.

Congratulations
It is SO GOOD to hear from you two. One year ago huh? Wow - where does the time go. I am so glad to hear some good news on this site - it has been so hard to hear of all the setbacks lately then of Polly's death. You tell Linda I am cheering her on from afar and hope to hear in another 6 months that she is still doing great and living life exactly as she always planned. My best to you both.

Yes, a year since I first found this site, which also means a year ago we were going through all the tension of disappointing test results, then surgery, then chemo, and all the emotional challenges that went with it. All of it so fast we couldn't catch our breath. But being able to ask questions here...and process...was a life saver for me, anyway. I've been checking and helping where I can on line. It is challenging for all of us, especially when you hear about results that we wish were better. Everyone's compassion and expertise are greatly welcomed though. Quite a community. -
