Non Hodgkins and Vertigo connection

My husband completed chemotherapy one year ago for Stage IV NHL. Everything has gone great. However, he now has developed severe vertigo that seems to be resisting treatment. Maybe I'm paranoid, but I'm wondering if it's connected to the NHL. Has anyone else with NHL developed vertigo of this persistent nature? Is it some sort of symptom or side effect? Could use any info.
