Incredible shrinking cyst.......?

Hello everyone, well I saw the surgeon today and he did an exam and had trouble feeling the cyst so he did an ultrasound. Guess what? It actually went from 10cms down to just 3cm in just a few days! He said he may not remove it---just re-check it in a week or so. He does not think it was the estring that raised the estrogen in the first place. He feels that particular ovary just went into overdrive temporarily and the cyst also gave off estrogen and the estring was a coincidence. However I do have some hyperplasia in my uterine lining that needs to be scraped and biopsied. Apparently this is a side effect of the tamoxifen I am taking. Boy it never ends, does it? Well, anyway, thank you all so very much for your empathy, caring and support. Love Eileen

Great news!!! In high school I would have cysts on my ovaries that would burst each month causing horrible pain. Maybe if you hadn't of been seen on a particular day you would have never known about the cyst at all. Who knows. But seriously - great news. That's what we all wish for.
