Still in Limbo..again, but hopeful

Went to the surgeon today for follow up on Bob's PET results. Unfortunately, the PET is inconclusive. (yes, again we are in limbo, but it's ok as I'm still mindful of my blessings) It's about 50/50 at this point whether it's a new or reoccurrance liver met or something else. So.. a biopsy will be scheduled soon (we're waiting for a call) and also a colonoscopy as well. They want that done quickly as well. The surgeon (whom many of you know I have great faith for many reasons)however has told us if it is a reoccurrance he plans to "go after it" in his words, either via another resection or rfa. Right now it looks like if it is a reoccurance then we may have some options. I am grateful for that blessing right now. Thank you all for your kind thoughts and prayers. I've never had the pleasure of meeting any of you in person, but you are all considered my extended family. Always in my prayers.

Diane,
I have been thinking of you today. I think your news sounds very hopeful! You have such a great attitude. Even if the biopsy does show a reoccurance--it still sounds very optomistic. I am still hanging on to the 50% chance that it is "something else" other than a reoccurance. Thanks for updating. Let us know about the biopsy.
I hope you can relax a little more tonight. Take care---you're both in my prayers.

Diane, as you know the waiting is always the hardest thing. I remember, though, your first posts and the despair that was reflected in them as, I recall, you were told at one point there was very little hope. You found an excellent surgeon and your husband improved and will continue to do so. You and your husband will continue to be in our prayers to get over this bump in the road as well.
