Hi All,
Just finished up 6 months of chemo w/ a dx 8/07 of stage 4 cc at 39 years. I had a liver resection and they took out an ovary.
The good news is the CT came back NED. I didn't think it would make me cry but there I was weeping tears of joy!!! So 6 months down and 4 1/2 years to go.
For now, I will enjoy my summer with my family and take that trip that seemed like it would never happen because its hard to imagine ever feeling normal again when you spend every other week sick from treatment.
Happy 4th to you all!
Jennifer

Hi Jennifer, Congratulations on the milestone; NED is so sweet to hear. I finished chemo 4 years ago on July 11, stage 3, 53 yo. I feel like the 4th of July celebrations help mark my freedom from cancer. Enjoy your summer and vacation, and many more "normal" things in the months to come. All the best, Judy0

Way to go Jennifer! That is great news. I know those tears of joy. It is such a relief! I know you will enjoy the rest of your summer.
Those 4 1/2 years will pass more quickly than you think.
Take care,
Susan H.0
