Hi Ladies tks for the comments... we chose Caelyx because since I'm my Mom's caregiver it`s hard for me to take her 5 days in a row and so often. I have a 1 year old and am 4 months pregnant. I hope this chemo is good for her... heat issues don`t worry me since we had a nice trip to the beach before this chemo and in Mexico our summer doesn`t get that hot. Tranfusion issues due to Topotecan would be worse because my Mom is almost 77. I'll keep you informed. Blessings Liz.

Lizper,
I'm happy to hear that you all have made a decision, deciding which chemo can drive a person nuts. I got a really itching rash after about 2 infusions. I never got the blistering that some people get. I also had chemo in the summer/fall time of the year and I'm in FL. I also wore tanning lotion with the highest sceening available when I did go outside. That was a little tip from my Onc. I hope this chemo works for your Mom,and she gets a nice long remission, like I did ..(((hugz)))~~~Joanne0
