For all of you guys currently struggling with the beast... just wanted you to know that Life Can be GREAT again. I am now 3 years Cancer Free... and Life is WONDERFUL. My son got married in March... (He married a lady that had a 6 year old child)... So I am a Grandmother... I decided to retire from my job after 30 years (I am 51 - early retirement)... I am consulting part- time and having a great time. Going out Dancing every weekend... going to the beach... and generally having a great time.....
And I will tell you when I was in Chemo and feeling like I was a 100 years old... I would never have believed that life could be so good again.....
So for you guys currently fighting the beast... keep it up... there will be light at the end of the tunnel.
God Bless all

Thanks for taking time to give out the encouraging words susan and congratulations for hanging in there and making the good things happen again.
I would like to add a word of encouragement as well.
I am celebrating 22 years of survivorship as well as my 60th birthday this month. And I agree. Life is good! I so well remember the time I thought it never would be again. I don't dwell on those days but I never want to forget them either...they taught me so much.
God bless everyone.0 -
Congratulations to you for having such a full and happy life!!! and thank you for sharing with us. It really helps a lot to hear from someone that found the light at the end of the tunnel.
"Chemo days" are not so much fun, and what I noticed in me, is that they pull me down, physically and mentally... But WE CAN GET BACK TO NORMAL ONE DAY!! Thank you for sharing and continue dancing, laughing, loving and living!!!0 -
Well, Susan~ no wonder I haven't seen your posts in here too often any more~ you are out there living Life, and proving there is definitely Life After Cancer!!!!
Hooray on all of your milestones~ being cancer free, becoming an Instant Grandmother, celebrating a wedding, retiring, dancing, all of it! Way to go!
Hugs,
