What should I be looking for in test results?

I had a radical nephrectomy of my right kidney in Feb 2008 - Type 1, Stage 2, no infiltration anywhere else. My Dr. said there was no need to check anything until December because he considered me "cured". Being who I am, and not trusting the word "cured" I recently asked my PCP to run blood test to check the remaining kidney. I'm waiting for the results, what should I reasonably expect my creatinine & urea levels to be?

By the way, feeling great, exercising, no signs of trouble (but there were no signs when they found the cancer checking on a hernia). Only issue is with the shooting pain I occasionally get from the incision - I bet that will be around for a while.

    The easiest way to locate other members with similar experiences is to type keywords (such as "blood work," "creatinine," "urea levels," etc.) on the search bar at the top of the home page. You can refine your search by clicking on the different categories of content listed below the list of keyword matches that you get from your search.
