Percutaneous Cryoablation for Kidney Cancer

I've been reading about the success of Percutaneous Cryoablation in the treatment of RCC . Everything I've read so far says it is and has been limited to tumors up to 7 cm. in diameter. The reason given is that the "ice ball" might damage organs adjacent to the tumor . My question is : is it possible the treatment can be done in stages on larger tumors ? That is, destroy a large portion of the large tumor that is not impinging on other abdominal organs with the PC and address the remainder with other treatments.

Dear rowsdower,
The easiest way to locate other members with similar experiences is to type keywords (such as "renal cell carcinoma," "percutaneous cryoablation," "kidney cancer treatment," etc.) on the search bar at the top of the home page. You can refine your search by clicking on the different categories of content listed below the list of keyword matches that you get from your search. The major categories of content on CSN are discussion boards, personal web pages, etc. For example, if you are looking for a personal web page, you can limit your search to personal web pages only by clicking on the "personal web pages" category. Remember that you must be logged in if you want to post anything on a discussion boards, view personal web pages, use the chat room, etc.
