Going Back To Work

Hello Everyone, Well, tomorrow is my lucky day... I am going back to work. My doctors have released me, though reluctantly, to go back. I said I was tired of fighting with the insurance folks, so for now I am going back. I feel a lot beter than I did when all of my battle with the beast started. The only concern now is not getting as run down as I was.
Also, last week I went to the local Walmart to get safety glasses for my return to work. I was pretty excited because my eyes have actually gotten a little better. But they found a cyst below my eye that they want me to have looked at. It was not there 2 years ago and because I have plastic surgery under both eyes due to childhood Steven Johnson Syndrome..well, I have to see a specialist. Not looking forward to this but I will get through it.
And, I will be going for my first gyno appointment on Monday in over 10 years. I know, I know. But as a care giver and someone who never had a reason to go, or so I thought. Well, the doctors said that since my Mom had ovarian, it was wise to start checking NOW!! So, we will get through this also.
Well, now you all have been updated on my latest adventures. I hope everyone has a good week, and I sure will keep you all posted. Hugs to everyone, Cindy

Hello Cindy,
I am also going back to work on June 30 and my last chemo is on Friday. I have at least 3 weeks to rest and worried to face all the people at work. I know there's going to be people that will be curious and will ask question but for now I am thinking about my last round of chemo and the possible side effects of it (my 3rd is not so good).
I hope everything will be OK when you go back to work.
God bless,

Cindy:
Glad you're going back. It means you're going that one step forward in reclaiming your NEW life. I found that it was better to work since it kept me distracted and I didn't have time to dwell on how I felt. I also had an exceptional boss who actually took me to almost all my chemo sessions. Just take it one day at a time and good luck to you on your first day. Hugs, Lili0
