Hi everyone! Well i need your help plz, my lung nodules are growing and multiplying and my doctors are doing nothing. I met with a thoracic surgeon yesterday who in my opinion danced around removing them. So i know i need to look further, i live in california and have been going to stanford. Can any of you again share your similar condition and also what cancer center has helped and are supportive in treating lung nodules. I so appreciate any and everything, Thank you Denise (oh im stage 1V had liver and colon resection two years ago along with chemo, and radiation)

Hi there. My CT scan showed a lung nodule and I immediately went to a thoracic surgeon and he and my onc recommended surgery to remove it. I opted to have a lung RFA instead. I would think that if you got too many of them, they would be harder to treat. I would get a second opinion. Best of luck and keep us posted.

Hello, I also go to stanford. Stage 4 here. My onc is Dr. Fisher and my thorasic surgeon was Dr. Whyte. I had 2 spots in my left lower lobe and they did a lobectomy in Nov of 2007. I had colon cancer in 9/06, liver resection with Dr Soo at Stanford in feb of 07 along with chemo. The lung spots showed up after 3 months of clear Ct scan. My last scan in March was clear. I have had so far a good experience there but it is crowded. I did push for surgery quickly. Currently, I am not on anything for long reasons but if something shows up in CEA or Ct scan then its back toi either surgery and/or chemo
