My Relay for Life team had a talent show last night to raise money. I'm so excited! We raised over $1100!!! That puts us over our team goal of $2500!!! Relay's a week from Friday, so I'm thrilled. I stepped way out of my comfort zone and sang a solo that I dedicated to all cancer survivors. I especially dedicated it to my friend Bob. He's been fighting lymphoma for a few years and was put into hospice care last Thursday. Thinking of him put me into a zone not normally possible, and I think I sang with a spirit not normally mine. I wish so much I could change his cirucmstances, but it was a beautiful moment, nonetheless.
