My doctors gave me a mouth rinse for my sore mouth, throat and tongue - one of my side effects from cytoxan/taxotere. It worked. I was told to swish and gargle 4 -5 times a day. It doesn't taste great, but it sure soothes. Here is goes. You may need a pharmacist, chemists or someone good at conversions to put this into play. You need 1000ml of sterile water, 5g salt, and 6g baking soda. I used a conversion chart on the Internet to convert the grams. Or get your doctor to give you a prescription (I think this is standard mouth rinse for chemo gals) and get it filled. Hope this tip helps someone. Hugs, Marilynn

If it stop working you might ask your doctor for "Magic Mouthwash" it was a mix of Lydocane and Maloxx...and possibly something else. They mixed it at the Chemo pharmacy. Worked well and coated my mouth...
