Study Finds Fasting Helps Chemo

I just survived another week (weak ugh!) of chemo and came across this article this morning. Very interesting!


A pre-chemo fast may ease ill effects of mice. It seems that cancer cells responded fine to the chemo while protecting regular cells.

    Ihope that this is true. I fasted during a lot of chemo - not by choice - but mostly because I was too sick to eat. I lost 50 pounds. Would be nice to know this was helpful in some way.
