Thankfully after finding this board and a few others, and reaching out to folks who have been there. I went for a 3rd surgical opinion and he is going to do my surgery. I am going to have a right and left colon resection and then a resection and possible rfa on my liver. I am scared but confident that this is the right choice. I can't wait to get this surgery over with. Thank you all for your messages, you never know who you might inspire with them!

It is good news that you found a surgeon :) When is your surgery and the resections, does that mean you will have a colostomy and a ilestomty (sp?) and then get them both put back together?

Please keep your family here informed at each step :)

My Surgery is next tuesday March 25th. They say they don't think I will need either, they believe they can cut out the right side of my colon and the left side of my colon and reconnect me.

Tami, First, A big hug g/f! and thanks for the email. I'll be thinking of you on the 25th and sending a multitude of prayers . There is a saying that I really love.. "In the race between the rock and the stream the stream always wins... not because of strength , but because of persistance. Persistance isn't easy , neither is faith , but faith makes things possible. Keep the faith ! God Bless and I'm going to be looking for that NED post!
