E.D. and Incontinence surgery

Harvs, Just found this site and found this thread. I am desperately looking for guys like you who have had these surgeries. Hope you will help answer some questions because I am scheduled for both AUS and penine implant surgery... at the same time. I am 14-15 months post radical open prostate removal. I never regained continence in spite of trying everything possible. I still drip, drip, drip, holding nothing in my bladder except when I lie or sit down.harvs said:Had both artificial sphincter and inflatable penile implant installed. Both working well. Not perfect, but definitely fixed the problems
I don't know exactly how this forum works, but I sure need all of your first-hand experiences regarding the AUS & penile implant.
Can your or anyone else help with the following questions?
1. Did you have both devices implanted at same surgery?
2. How long were you off work?
3. We all know sex is not the same after prostate removal, but are you enjoying it more with the prosthesis?
4. What devices (brand) did you receive?
5. How long ago did you have the implants?
6. Do devices work as you expected?
7. How old are you? (I am 65)
6. What else can you share?
I may go ahead and start a new thread in order to perhaps attract anyone else who can help.
Thanks,

Here are the answers to your questions
Did you have both devices implanted at same surgery?
Yes
How long were you off work?
One week
We all know sex is not the same after prostate removal, but are you enjoying it more with the prosthesis?
Theres less external physical sensation with the implant. But the fact that its always there and never gives up, more than compensates
What devices (brand) did you receive?
Both were AMS
How long ago did you have the implants?
Do devices work as you expected?
Yes - really great. I highly recommend
How old are you? (I am 65)
63
What else can you share?
