I was dx in Feb 07 with Stage 1C Ovarian Cancer. I am look for women who may want to start up a support group in Fort Worth. I already go to the NOCC meetings but I really want to have regular support group. I go to a wonderful one at Baylor in Dallas, but can't go each Monday. Any one interested?

Google your area for Ovarian Cancer Support groups or check on the american cancer support webpage. If you don't find anything, check with OCNA http://www.ovariancancer.org/ and they can help. They are Ovarian Cancer National Alliance group. I wish I was closer but am on the top of map in Minnesota. :-)
I live in rural MN and we couldn't get a ovca support group going, but we do now have a women's cancer support group that meets once a month. It is a great group so that would be another option for you. Again check with your local navigator and they may know of one.
Good luck ~ lots of prayers ~ Bonnie
