I'm sorry to hear about your mother. What stage is she? How old is she? Although I can't offer recommendations for those particular areas, I'm sure someone will give you some info. In the meantime, we are all here to offer what we can - love, hugs, prayers and lots of information, tips on getting through surgery, chemo, etc. Don't hesitate to ask. Hope to hear from you soon.

HI,
There is another site like this one called OvCa.net. On there they have a Dr. registry you can look up by state. You could also go to the Discussion pages and post this same question there, you'll probably get a really good response there as well. Good luck..sorry to have to meet this way. (((hugz)))~~Joanne0 -
Hello...I have a great doctor to recommend to you. Doctor Hank Hill. He works out of St. Vincent in Erie, Pa. He had previously worked out of Buffalo, NY at Roswell Cancer center. He took care of my Mom. He is very meticulous about things, does not hurry. Answers questions no matter how much time it takes. I got to know him as he took care of my Mom. Now he takes care of me for breast cancer. He is also good at recommending other doctors and other treatments. I wish you the best. Cindy0

My surgery was done by Dr. Wayne Christoferson in Pittsburgh. My ob/gyn suggested him, and I think he did fine work for me. It sounds as though you're on the Eastern side of the state, though.0

Sorry to hear about your mother. I myself was diagnosed last August at age 43. My gynocological oncologist is wonderful -- Dr. Thad Denehy, Livingston, NJ (Essex County). Recommended as one of the top in his field in this area. I've been told by other MDs that the surgery performed on me was "top notch" and should "set the standard" for others. Good luck!0
