First PET scan and update
I asked about my voice and he wants another two months of healing before he recommends Hyperbaric Oxygen treatment.
In the mean time, I took JK's advice and got some L Glutamine at the health food store today. I also went to an Aromatherapist and got an inhailer with all sorts of essiential oils to soothe my throat.
So, I hope this week I see some real change in my throat.

The funny part of this place for me is that I could not come in here as I went through treatment, it scared the hell out of me! Now I know I am the odd one and most folks need the support this site provides and I am just glad to be here to give that much needed support!be4man said:Thanks guys! It's good to have support here. I have learned so much on this forum and I look forward to being one of the long term survivors that visits here to offer support and hope as many of you have done for us.

Did you ever see the movie "Pay It Forward"? That's what we CSN'rs are doing. We are all still here in part thanks to someone who offered us support, helpful advice, great tips........that's why we are called Humans........we make a difference.be4man said:Thanks guys! That was my exact thought when I signed up for a clinical study at Vanderbilt. I figure I owed my survival to someone who went through the trials 20 years ago so maybe I can help someone 20 years down the road.jkinobay said:Did you ever see the movie "Pay It Forward"?
