Anyone on Zometa?

I have been getting Zometa IV for 8 months, inside my mouth tends to swell and become uncomfortable, sometimes painful. I also swell near my eyes, it looks awful in the morning, like someone punched me in my sleep. Is anyone else having these problems? If so what do you do about your mouth being uncomfortable?

    I have been on Zometta since May (once a month) and it makes my whole body ache....but it has stopped the cancer that was in the bone.

    Are you maybe allergic?
    I've been on Zometa for several years and haven't had anything like your symptoms. Can you try benadryl for the swelling? Does it happen only around your infusion (maybe you could get decadron as a pre-med or something) or is it constant?

    I hope your doctor can offer some relief.
