Hi everyone,
I've heard before that eating cruciferous veggies (ie; broccoli, etc.) is very helpful in fighting cancer in general, but this article mentions ov/ca specifically. So if you need a nudge toward eating more broccoli, here it is!

While on this site, you might also want to take the nutrition test (http://www.realage.com/NutritionCenter/nutritionprofile/introduction.asp) to see if you're getting all the vitamins and minerals in your daily diet and any supplements you may already be taking! Although this is not cancer related advice, just for the general public, I've found it very helpful to know what's lacking in what I'm eating. I hope it helps you too!

Hi Marianne!
I definitely agree that broccoli seems to be the vege of choice. I've been making a part of my DAILY diet. And there have been tons of articles substantiating it's healthful benefits as well as cancer prevention. Now, the current issue of Prevention has a small article that actually states broccoli is vital in the fight against 'ovarian cancer'. You can't get much better than that! Enjoy!
