treatment options

My mom, 70, was diagnosed with primary liver cancer in September. She's had two rounds of therasphere and now they want to do chemoembolization. She has many tumors, including one blocking the portal vein. The T-sphere treatments left her really weak and nauseous and she's relucant to do the chemoem. for fear of even worse side effects. The first T treatment, in the left lobe, did stabilize tumors there. But we don't know if treatments really will buy quality time, which is what she wants. Anyone else been down this path?
