Hi,
My doctor said the same exact thing following my lung resection at MD Anderson. There are no guarantees, but I hope it makes you feel better to know that my lung resection was in 10/04!
So, rather than feeling nervous about not doing chemo, try to feel grateful that you don't have to do it. That is how I looked at it. I didn't try to insist on chemo as a matter of fact I was thrilled that I didn't have to do it again. Take this time to change your eating habits, get in the mindset that you are cured, and exercise, if you are not already doing so.
Best wishes,
Susan H. -
Oh yeah, I just wanted to add, now might be a good time to speak to an N.D. about the various things you can do to prevent recurrences i.e. supplements, herbal things, and other alternatives. I have tried many different avenues that I would be happy to share if you are interested.shmurciakova said:Hi,
