Saundra,
That's great news! Hopefully the Taxol won't be too hard on you. I'm still having neoropathy in one foot 3 and a half months after finishing chemo, but it does seem to be fading. During treatment it got pretty bad, where I had difficulty walking for a while, but I decided to ride it out (didn't want to stop treatment), and it got better. My CA-125 was 5.3 when I finished chemo, but now it has jumped up to 15.7. Trying my best not to worry. Hopefully it's unrelated to cancer. We'll see at the first of the year when they re-check it. Hopefully the new year will bring us both continued good news!
Happy Hollidays!

Marianna, that fickle CA125 can go up and down like a yo-yo for a number of reasons - infection, stress, etc. So don't worry - that might make it go up more!
Luv you all!

I take it every 4 weeks usually, but am going a little early this month because of the holidays (3 weeks.) Yes, my hair is falling out today and head is SORE. It had grown back since July to a little over an inch in spite of 4 doses of taxol and carbo.collins said:Saundra,
Great news!!! I am so happy for you, what a good feeling. How often do you take the taxol on maintenance?
does this program cause you to loose you hair? and what other side effects do you have?
