Hi all,
I found this site 4 years ago, after my surgery for stage 3, and just before my first chemo. I have just had my follow up onc appt, and remain NED. We will be extending the time betweem appts to 6 months, with annual CT scan and colonscopy in 2 yrs.
Although I don't post regularly, I still lurk a lot...for you newbies, stay strong and focused in this fight! My treatment had some ups and downs, but thanks to my docs, my family and friends, and much good fortune, I can say it does get better. I try to maintain my sense of gratitude for the gift of surviving to this day, and owe much to the friends and support I got from this board. Wishing us all continued strength in the coming New Year.
