Aromasin and Sleep

Has anyone had problems sleeping since they started taking Aromasin? If so, what do you take for sleep. I noticed it and told my Drs. P.A. She said that it wasn't a "usual" side effect. I have been taking Ambien CR but that doesn't keep me asleep anymore. I just started Lunesta, but that isn't working well either.
I used to sleep exactly 7 1/2 hours a night before all this cancer and I really miss it!!
Thanks
She

Hi! I took aromasin for 1 1/2 years preceded by Femara for 8 mos and before that Tamoxifen for 5 years! I haven't slept well in years but don't know if it was the meds or just me. I tend to wake up constantly watching to see how much more time I have to sleep! Not fun! I never took anything to help cause I'm afraid to. Good luck! Hope you get some sleep soon. HUGS!! Cathy

I have been taking sleep meds once I started taking Armidex... I switched to Aromosin...but still have sleep issues... I find that one glass of wine and Lunesta is enough to get me to sleep and then I normally sleep about 7 -8 hours..
    Not to bad...

    Take Care...

I tend to wake up with hot flashes on aromasin, especially when I forget and drink something the hour before bed. Oh well, at least my feet aren't cold while I run down the hall to the bathroom!!! I exercise a lot, mostly by hitting the gym every day at 5:30 am for an hour. That helps me sleep later on I think. I'm down to only one time waking up (around 2:40 every night) which is better than it was. Good luck!
