I just thought I would share this with you.... I ordered a set of linens on Ebay~the color and pattern were exactly what I needed to finish my Thanksgiving table. And I wanted it all to look as beautiful and inviting as possible, as I certainly have a lot to be thankful for.
I was willing to pay $15.00 for the linens, and when I was the high bidder, I was thrilled! Turns out I was the ONLY bidder, and got the set for 99 CENTS! The seller charged $3.00 for shipping. Good deal, huh??? Until the package arrived, and the poor seller had to pay $7.50 to get it out to me.
So~ I sent her a note, telling her why I had much to be thankful for ( surviving BC!) and that my conscience wouldn't allow me NOT to send her $15.00. Which I enclosed. So~~~ I got a note in return:
CLAUDIA,
I RECEIVED YOUR LETTER AND I WANTED TO THANK YOU FOR YOUR THOUGHTFULNESS. I WAS SO TOUCHED BY YOUR LETTER. I LOST MY MOM TO CANCER WHEN I WAS 15. I AM GOING TO DONATE THE MONEY YOU SENT TO THE AVON BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION IN YOUR HONOR. YOU ARE A VERY THOUGHTFUL PERSON. HAVE A WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING!!!
Don't think for one minute that that note wasn't the highlight of my Turkey-Day thankfulness!
Isn't it wonderful when "What goes around, comes around" is a GOOD thing?
I hope this makes you smile, my sisters!
Hugs,
Claudia

Personally, I believe God works all things together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose, but it is fine if the concept of Karma is more to your pleasure. Either way, I am glad you made a new freind and have thought to share your cheer with us.
God bless you both, seof
