Looks like there's been a lot of good news while I was away. Congrats to everyone who's doing the happy dance and encouraging blessings and energy to those still fighting!!
I just got out of the hospital. I had fluid build up around my intestinal and surgery site which required 5 days of 3 square meals, being legally stoned, the ability to change the light in my room and watch tv from bed....almost worth the IV and bitchy nurses! LOL
On a more serious note, I'm attempting this healing thing all over again. The drain was removed and it had been like a tail and very uncomfortable so I'm glad it's out. I'm on 10 days worth of Bactrim which is wreaking havok on my insides which are incredibly painful and my tummy and bum hurt all the time, but this too shall pass.
I met with my Oncologist and he confirmed what my own research had shown, I'm Type II T3N0M0 and will start radiation and chemo somewhere around the 20th of this month.
Wishing you all a happy Friday!

I was wondering what happen to you, my dear!

Did they give you a 'doggie bag' of the good drugs to take home???? Will you share????? (lol)

Keep the fighting spirit, and give yourself some time...treat your body like a dear, faithful old friend...it's going to get quite a workout, as well as the one it's already had!

    Please keep us posted!

    Hugs, kathi

I'm so sorry you're having such a hard time, Moon. You really are a trouper and an inspiration. Hang in there, and know i'm right behind you. Surgery for me is due sometime at the end of this month, maybe the beginning of Dec if they ever schedule my scans. This is the scariest part for me, but at least i'll be able to join you in the semi-colon club afterwards, and that's a great honor.

    Keep us posted!
