Tamoxifen -- Cramping?

Hello Ladies --

I have been on Tamoxifen for about four months now. I still am getting a period, but it came a later last month, so it may be in the process of ceasing. Since starting Tamoxifen, I've been having some cramping in my left ovary. It started out gradually around my period, and has been quite severe this week (if period comes, it would not be due for another few weeks). Has anyone had this issue? Is this a symptom of menopause?

    Hummm, don't know if that is a side of Tamoxifen...I was already in menopause...

    Menopause has all sorts of wonderful side effects...how old are you, etc? Can be spotty periods, missed periods, hot flushes, all that stuff...
    Have it checked with your onc....maybe a CT scan of the abdomen, just to be safe? That nasty beast likes to sneak around other places, too...
