those of you with tonsil cancer

was your tonsil constantly painful? was it swollen and lumpy? im waiting on a diagnosis and trying to get info. thanks

    mine was swollen and red for several months and i had a sore throat that wouldn't go away as well. the cancer was underneath my tonsil. i would advise that you get a referral to a specialist. hope this helps.

    Mine never acted up or showed any signs. I was shaving one day and found a small lump on my neck. It ended up stage 4 scc of the L tonsil and several nodes. Hope you get good news! Let us know!

    BugHunter, the very some thing happened to me. At the time I found my lump, I felt great.

    I had a swollen lymphnode. I first thought it was an ear infection. Very little pain. They did a biopsy and found the cancer cells. Then they went in and found the tumor in my toncils.
